Save $$ on Gas!

So gas prices went to almost $4/gallon overnight! It is quite depressing. So...use Kroger fuel points!!! For $1 off per gallon for one fill up (in the following month) you need 1000 Kroger fuel points. By normal means, this seems ridiculous...what crazy spends $1000 in groceries each month??? Well, there are other ways to get points, including 50 points per prescription filled, and 2x points on gift cards (i.e. if you bought a $25 GC you get 50 points).

Through April 7, Kroger is offering 4x points on gift cards, so for easy math, if you bought $250 in gift cards in March you get $1 off per gallon on one fill up in April. NOTE: Excludes Kroger gift cards and Prepaid cards (like Visa/MC)

Kroger has piles and piles of gift cards. Buy restaurant gift cards for places you know you're already going, but Disney gift cards and use them to pay for your trip (oh dear goodness I want to go to Disney), buy Home Depot cards for any home improvements, etc.

I would suggest checking the bottom of your last receipt for any grocery fuel points and buying however many gift cards would add up to 1000 points-before March 31-which would apply to an April fill up. Then April 1-7 purchase another $250 (or less depending on your grocery spending for the rest of the month) in gift cards for a May fill up. $250 seems like a ridiculous amount of money but you're really just prepaying for things you're already going to do!

Have You Missed Me?

It turns out I can't keep up with 3 part-time jobs and a blog. I so wish I could continue with the weekly updates, but life is getting in the way! There are so many wonderful blogs and forums out there, I feel like I'm just a drop in the bucket anyway.

I'm still going to the drug stores every week and shopping for great deals, I am just unable to post consistently and I feel bad that you all can't rely on me! I may post some random deals but try not to hold your breath!
