It turns out I can't keep up with 3 part-time jobs and a blog. I so wish I could continue with the weekly updates, but life is getting in the way! There are so many wonderful blogs and forums out there, I feel like I'm just a drop in the bucket anyway.

I'm still going to the drug stores every week and shopping for great deals, I am just unable to post consistently and I feel bad that you all can't rely on me! I plan on posting random deals a few times a week, so keep checking back...and perhaps I can jump back in the swing in a few months!

I got back late Monday night from a long weekend in Wisconsin and added a 3rd part time job (+ blogging) to my to do list, so Can I Get It For Free is taking a breather this week. However, if I don't get on the ball, I'm going to miss all the sales too...so I hope to make some sort of short list and post it soon. My Target Trip!

Target has lots of super deals. I don't go REALLY often, just because I would get in a lot of trouble with all the wonderful (non-sale) items there. But I went to Target on Tuesday. They had a similar deal as Toys R Us on Toy Story 1 and 2....and I was planning on going to TRU Tuesday for the deal, but I realized that the $2 extra I would spend at Target on the movies (they were $22.99 each with $10 off when you buy 2, where TRU was $16.99 when you bought 2) would be spent in the gas to get there (P.S. Target price matches, so if I had received the TRU ad in the paper I could have used it to get them for $16.99 each). So since I was making a trip to Target I decided to look around for some other deals. I came out with the following...

**Toy Story 1 & 2, $22.99 each, minus $10 off for buying both, minus 2 - $10 off coupons = $15.98 PLUS they each came with movie tickets for Toy Story 3 which comes out in June, worth $8.50 a piece...so I would say I came out on top by $1.02!!!**
**Target brand formula 40oz $16.xx, found $1 peelie coupons on Target brand body wash/lotion = $15.xx! (P.S. there were also peelies for $.75 off Target wipes and $1 off Target pull-ups)
**Target brand Toddler refill wipes (flushable) $1.24, minus $.75 peelie coupon = $.49
**AirWick I-Motion $6, used $5 newspaper coupon and printed $1 Target coupon = free
**Monopoly $7, used the $5 coupon from Sunday's paper, but if you missed it, you can print one here = $2

Before coupons my total was about $89 and after a lot of HUGE value coupons I paid about $36. How ridiculous is that!?!

**After linking the Target coupons above, I looked through them online and it seems as if they've taken down the Connect 4 (it was $3 off select Hasbro) and Sobe coupons. BUT there was a new $3 off select Disney DVD/Blu-Ray. I'm not close to my printer to check out the details, so I'm not sure what it's for...but if it's for Toy Story, that's an extra $6 ($3 each) off!

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are being released tomorrow (Tuesday) in a DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack. I don't need the Blu-Rays and really don't understand why they have to be sold together...but that's where the sales and coupons are, so that's what I'm going to get. Also each combo pack (should) comes with a movie ticket (up to $8.50) for Toy Story 3 which comes out in June!

First, log in or sign up for Disney Movie Rewards. Then, enter code 786936294507 in the "enter code" box for a $10 off Toy Story coupon. Then, enter code 786936294521 for a $10 off Toy Story 2 coupon!

So far it looks like Toys R Us has the best deal. When you buy both TS 1 & 2 you will get them for $16.99 each...Buy both, use one each of the $10 coupons = $13.98 out of pocket plus 2 movie tickets!

KMart advertised that if you buy both you'll get $10 off the total purchase...but they didn't advertise how much they cost. However, with the $10 off and 2 - $10 coupons, that's $30 off the original price! If you printed the $10 off $20 coupon you could try using it. It seems that KMart "mistakenly" posted the coupon on their website (really?!?!). You could try using it though...I might. Depending on how much the movies are, or if you are buying other items there are always $5 off $50 coupons available.

Okay, if you can get over the excitement of regular priced items being half price, how about SUPER DOUBLES starting the first week of April!!! During Super Doubles weeks, KMart doubles up to $2 coupons and up to 5 coupons in a transaction. So for every $2 coupon you'll get $4 off! I think the hardest part will be not going negative with the $10 off coupon!

I am not going to post a list of free after Super Doubles items, the lists are WAY too long - there are other people that have already done all the work and I am not going to copy and paste everything onto this blog. My first suggestion would be to visit the Kmart forum of A Full Cup. They're going to give you the most up to date information and a ridiculous amount of scenarios and examples.

However, here are a few ideas for the $10 off coupon for this week...the only problem is you'll have to visit KMart 3 times over the next 2 days if you want all 3 deals!

**Buy $30 worth of qualifying items on page 13 of this weeks ad get $10 off your next order...purchase 5 - 12 packs of Quilted Northern at $7.49, use 2 - $1 off 2 coupons from the paper and the $10 off $20 coupon = $25.45 out of pocket - $10 OYNO - $5 rebate = $10.45...that's less than $.18 per roll!

Someone asked me about the Kleenex RR in this weeks Walgreens post, but for some reason I can't publish comments tonight! So, I'll just explain in a post...

Walgreens has weekly and monthly Register Reward offers. Often the monthly offers are just advertised for one week in the weekly ad and even just one week on the shelf. But the original shelf tag describes how long the sale is (but is often taken down after the advertisement week). The Kleenex Register Reward started a few weeks ago and lasts through 3/21. I didn't mention the deal until this week, because they are on sale this week with an in-ad coupon for $.89 which makes it a great deal after coupons and RR. The complete offer is:

Buy 6 Kleenex get $3RR; Buy 5 get $2RR; Buy 4 get $1RR. The best deal is buying 6 because you may use 2 - $.50 off 3 coupons making them just $.22 after the in-ad coupon!

I wasn't able to get out much on week 3, so I am putting weeks 3 & 4 together. It is discouraging that when I worked full time I could pick a different drug store to visit on my lunch break each day, and now that I hang out with 2 kids all day it's difficult to justify a 5 minute trip with all the coats and car seats in and out and "stay there," don't move," "just one more minute," and even a "I'll give you candy if..." It's easier to just wait for Jeremy to get home. And because I haven't been shopping as often, I regret to say that I've let a $5 ECB and a $2 and $3 Register Rewards expire. That's $10!!! I've bought some things I've "needed" this week so I haven't made much profit - that along with my lost RRs and ECBs increased my out of pocket a bit!

My head is spinning from all the deals coming up this week. Rite Aid in particular has an amazing P&G deal. BUT 12 packs of Pepsi for free at CVS this one is going to be easy!

**update** it seems that the $5 off $20 has been taken down. In the right top corner of the CVS website it says you may click for a $5 off ($30) coupon...but I can't find it. Either way I would still do 2 transactions (buy 9 and then 3 with coupon....or 6 and 6 without the coupon)- if you don't split the transaction a $20 ECB will print out and that is a lot to spend on another trip. If you find the coupon it will be $5 for 12-12 packs...without the coupon it's $10 for 12-12 packs...still a ridiculous deal!

I’m still getting used to Rite Aid…my 3rd drug store. The deals and freebies are often in the form of a rebate, so the gratification isn't instant, but I still know it's coming! They often have x off xx coupons which always makes the deals better!

There is also new promotion based on the game of Life. Does anyone else become addicted to the Monopoly game at McDonald’s…yeah, I think I’m in trouble… This one goes until 2/27 and you could win gift cards, cash, a car, or pay off your mortgage. For some reason I always think I’m going to be a big winner, I HAVE won a couple french fries at McDonald’s… Anyway, you get a game ticket for each transaction and then there’s a huge list of items that give you additional game tickets. I had a free entree waiting for me on my QDoba card, so we decided to visit last night. I feel like we scored a major deal.

First I purchased a $25 gift card in order to receive a $5 bonus for Jan/Feb.
Then we purchased our 2 burritos (one free on card) + a kids meal. I used the gift card in the first transaction to purchase it.
Tuesday is double points night! I only got points for the one burrito I paid for, but I'm still 400 of 1000 points on my way to another free one!
Both my receipts for the gift card and food offered an online survey for which I would receive a free order of chips & queso on my next visit!

In total: free rewards entree, free $5 in Jan/Feb, double points to add up to my next free entree, and 2 free chips & queso! Woohoo!

Don't neglect those receipt surveys! You'll get lots of free stuff! Every time you order something at Arby's you can take an online survey to get a free beef and cheddar. Burger King also has a phone survey for a free Whopper on their receipt (the survey is REALLY long though)

If you're planning on visiting Wags a few times over the next few days, there are a few things to remember:

If you’re planning on getting restaurant gift cards for friends or family this Christmas, buy from a restaurant that’s going to give you some “money” back. Or, what am I saying, go buy gift cards for yourself!

Let’s say I go to QDoba once a month (understatement), if I buy 2 - $25 gift cards, I will get 2 - $5 bonuses for use in Jan/Feb. That's like 2 free burritos! If there is a restaurant you’re more than likely going to visit in January or February (when most of the bonuses are valid), plan ahead and buy the gift cards now and use the bonuses + gift cards throughout the year!
